I have an almost similar LEGACY &...Pace yourself... I have an almost similar LEGACY "Project" that I've been working on [and off] for DECADES using SEWING-THREAD!! -- Except, my smallish [3"] crocheted squares are built-up on each other... Two strands of thread are chained, then single-crocheted. A single "square" can end-up taking a Day to do! -- There's probably a Hundred MILES [if not more!] worth of thread involved so far. It also weighs about 10 pounds! -- Actually, I haven't had time to "work" on IT for a few years now...
