Work-in-Progress Wednesday 37

Happy Wednesday! This will be short and sweet, as I am in LA for the LA Kings hockey playoff game on Tuesday night. I just have to say, GO KINGS! I hope to have time to comment on everyone's posts when I get home, but it may be later in the day. Have a great day!

What is that you ask? IT'S MY KNITTED MONSTER! I know he looks almost like a chalk outline of himself, but trust me, all of the pieces are there minus the face pieces. I can't explain to you how excited I am. I can't wait to show you the FO on Friday. I did cheat a little, and finished him right after I took this photo. :)

For those that are new to WIPW, to share your WIPW post with us, just fill out the Mr. Linky below. Despite it saying you must comment, don't feel as if you do. That is something Mr. Linky automatically adds. I just ask you to check out a few of the links posted to see what everyone else is working on and comment there if you can. Everyone loves feedback and a little encouragement on their projects! Also, please link back to this post in your post to get the word out! The more the merrier!

  8. Had my post ready for last Wed. for WIP since I was out of town and thought I'd pop in long enough to add myself to the linky; but forgot to do that while away....so will use last Wed's post for today and try to get caught up a bit.

A monster....hum, looks interesting and am anxious to see how it works out. Hope you have fun while you're out of town.

Have a fantastic time at the game. There is nothing quite like the atmosphere at a playoff game. So fun!

  21. Thanks everyone on the kind comments! For those asking, it's not my design, but one of Rebecca Danger's fabulous patterns. I'll be linking to the pattern page on Friday.

  22. Shoot, I just noticed it says "bookmarks" after my name every time. Those "pre-filled" forms don't show it all. I'll try to remember to fix that. lol

  24. Nice work on the monster limbs! I'm looking forward to seeing him in his full glory on Friday. :) Sorry about the game last night, I know how much it sucks to be in the stands and have everything blow up like that. On to the next!

    Um, Go Blackhawks!!!

He's doing more for himself, so I'm back into making my rounds on blogreading. I'll make me way to everyone eventually. It's quite a group we've grown to.

  28. Thanks everyone!

    Welcome to everyone new!!!!

Paula, yes, we were just in awe. I knew at second intermission they would lose. I believe that the Sharks will now win the series. After the first two games and the first period last night, I actually had some hope. :( Unbelievable. At least we still had fun. I've been a Kings fan for long enough (almost 21 years) to never count your chickens.

Denise, so glad to have you back reading blogs!
