Work in Progress Wednesday 147

Hi everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend. We had a quiet one at home with not much going on. Unfortunately I didn't do any knitting, as I was rocking on my cross stitch! One of them, the June Woodland Sampler square, I finished, so I'll share that on Friday.

I know I've showed this before, but it's been awhile and I've done a little bit more. I know it doesn't seem like much, but it's slow going, let me tell you. There's a LOT of stitches on this cross stitch. I'm not sure if I've ever shown the final product (of what it will look like if I can ever finish it).

As you can maybe see, the part I'm working on is where his legs meet. The dark patch is his back leg, the lighter, his front leg and the navy blue vertical banner looking thing is one of his coat tails. As I said, this thing is going to take me FOREVER! HA!

That's it for me today. I hope you have a great rest of your week and I will see you Friday!

For those that are new to WIPW, to share your WIPW post with us, just fill out the Mr. Linky below. Despite it saying you must comment, don't feel as if you do. That is something Mr. Linky automatically adds. I just ask you to check out a few of the links posted to see what everyone else is working on and comment there if you can. Everyone loves feedback and a little encouragement on their projects! Also, please link back to this post in your post to get the word out! The more the merrier!

  1. That looks great! I've signed up for Wild Olive's summer embroidery group and looking forward to a little needlepoint work. Of course it's winter down here but I won't let that stop me :-)

  8. I love your cross stitch picture! I've never seen anything like that but I love it! That is a major project though...it's a biggy but how beautiful it will be when done. Where did you get it? How big is the finished size? It looks to be huge! I love antique/vintage pictures like that. I just found a new to me cross stitch online shop...The Stitch and Frog and they have a huge selection. Going there is like going to Pinterest....the hours just fly by! LOL! Great job!
