Happy Wednesday! I hope you're having a great week, and if you aren't, the good news is it's hump day! I haven't had too much time to knit, but have a little to show. Hopefully next week my time will free up a little and I'll be able to get my knit/crochet on.
I know I promised you all pictures of the pillow finished and on the couch, but I thought I'd share that on Friday (yes, maybe that is a little cheating) since I probably won't have my scarf finished by then.
This is the only thing I have to show today, but it has grown since last week! I'm super excited about it now that I've hit the light color of the Galapagos colorway and the hot pink in the Regency colorway. Again, this is the Noro Striped scarf, but I'm using Knit Pick's new yarn, Chroma. I love the way the two colorways are meshing.
Sorry to be so brief today, but I have a ton of my plate right now. As I mentioned, I hope next week I'll have more stuff to show once my in laws have left, the house is finished and a few other things are off my plate, or at least off the worry plate.

I love how your scarf is turning out. I was trying to picks which colourways order chroma in yesterday. They are all so pretty (with great names), it's tough to decide!

That scarf is looking beautiful. If you wear yours half as much as I wear mine, you will be happy indeed.

ReplyDeleteThat chroma is gorgeous. The more I see it, the more I want to buy some. That scarf is going to be awesome. :) (I mean, it's already awesome. ;) )
ReplyDeleteI am loving that scarf.
ReplyDeleteAh, the worry plate. Mine's pretty full up too --it's starting to look more like a buffet... Lucky for you, you have that amazing scarf to keep you cheered. :) It's gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteLovely scarf!!
ReplyDeleteI love yarn that is self striping!! I used one called king cole Mirage to make some snake scarfs for my little cousins :-P
ReplyDeleteLove the colors, been so busy with crocheting ghans together of late, I've not gotten to knit anything; but am hearing a particular tourq calling out to me...so perhaps next WIP Wed ...

Look how beautiful it's coming! You are violently tempting me.
ReplyDeleteYou've inspired me! I ordered two different colors of chroma to make that scarf just yesterday!
ReplyDeleteIt must be addicting to see you the 2 colorways are going to come together next!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely scarf, good job! My second WIPW is now up, thanks so much for hosting this, it definitely makes me want to work harder so I've got something to show the group!
ReplyDeleteI love how the scarf is turning out. Those colors are gorgeous together!
ReplyDeleteI love Chroma. I can't wait to start using some--but I've promised to finish up my Noro before I do. Go, go, hands!
ReplyDeleteWonderful scarf. A pic of yourself draped in it would be niiice! :)
I'm loving the colors on your scarf.
ReplyDeleteThat scarf is so pretty!
ReplyDeleteYou are going to finish your scarf before I finish mine, I'm already jealous!
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone for all of the kind comments. Sorry I haven't been able to respond individually today (and I'll be going through the Mr Linky right now to make sure I get to see everyone's great WIPs), but I was away from the computer until now.
ReplyDeleteSuddenexpression, what colorways did you pick??
The scarf looks great! Looks like Chroma is a nice substitute for Noro.
ReplyDeletethe color variations in the scarf are gorgeous! Can't wait to see your pillow in action!
ReplyDeleteLove your scarf. The colors are very pretty.
ReplyDeleteWill try to catch up with everyone this week. I'm bringing my laptop to the hospital. That's when I can concentrate to read.
The list seems to grow each week.
So I just realized that the two colors I purchased of Chroma to make the same scarf are the exact same colors you are making it with! I wonder if they will look the same? How funny!
ReplyDeleteThat's actually awesome you picked the same colors! I can't wait to see if they look the same. I'm guessing they might start or match up at different times, giving it a totally different look. I can't wait to see!!!
