FO Friday 95

Hi everyone! I hope you had a great week! Mine has been busy as usual. :) I don't have any FO today unfortunately. I'm SOOO close to finishing my Rhombi but I had a little mishap on Wednesday night. I was home alone and tired, knitting while my husband was still at work. Not even thinking, I picked up the stitches for the second sleeve and finished knitting it. Not until I bound off and compared it to the other did I realize that I picked up WAY more stitches on the second sleeve in comparison to the first. OOPS! It's a HUGE size difference. I'm going to have to rip it out and start over (just the sleeve thankfully). I think before I do that, I'm going to pick up the edging and finish that first. That way re-doing the sleeve will be a little less painful.

The good news is, we got our sideboard delivered. Isn't it pretty??

That's it for me today. Have a great weekend!

  2. How come that we don't check while knitting along? This happens to me too.

  3. I am sorry to hear about your mishap. It happens to all of us, we get it into our head that we know what needs to be done and before we know it we are ripping out cause the pattern knows best!

    Beautiful sideboard

  7. I often find that every sweater I knit has more than two sleeves. Lovely sideboard!

  8. Sideboard is great. We knit because we enjoy it - so you get to do the sleeve more than once. Never feels that way though. I think I knit because I like to see the finished object.

  10. Knitting + tired = oops. For me, anyway. Luckily you have an AMAZING sideboard (which looks fantastic against that blue wall!)to distract you. That thing is gorgeous. Happy weekend!

    1. Thanks Heather! Wow, we do almost have the same color wall. I think mine has a little more green to it (it's a pure teal). It's the long accent wall downstairs. The rest of the downstairs walls are a light blue. :)

  12. It's so annoying when that happens, especially when you don't notice for ages! Hope it's fixed quickly!
