Guess what today is!!?? WEDNESDAY! It's actually 11:58pm on Tuesday night for me and the holiday weekend has me all confused. I was sitting on the couch, trying to finish the toe of my sock and waiting for my husband to get home from work when I realized in a few minutes it's WEDNESDAY. What does Wednesday mean?? I WAS SUPPOSED TO DO THE WIPW BLOG POST!!! Oops! I do have the excuse that my Monday knitting group met today, which again totally confused me. Good thing I remembered before I went to bed.
This won't be the best WIPW post I've ever written, I can assure you that. Not only am I tired, but I'm not working on anything too exciting.
You see, this is the second Doctor Who sock I started long long ago. What happened to the green ones you ask? Well, since it was the premiere of the new season of The Doctor, I thought it was only fitting I work on this again. Also, it's totally mindless (once I put in the waste yarn for the after thought heel). As you can see, I'm working on finishing the toe and then just need to knit the second toe....errrr, heel. I'm sure you'll be seeing these bad boys on FO Friday this week! That's right THREE FRIDAYS IN A ROW (and I haven't even cheated!).
That's it for me today (tonight?). I hope you all have a fabulous day. Tomorrow (Thursday), I'm taking a trip with a few of my friends to a couple of yarn stores in southern California. I'm sure I'll be Instagraming some pics of our journey so follow me @candyskein.
