I hope everyone had a great week and will have an even better weekend. Unfortunately this post is going to be very very short, as it's late Thursday night and I have the Queen Bee Craft Market in Del Mar, CA tomorrow and Saturday. If you live in the area, please come out and support local crafters! I'm sharing a booth with my friend Sharon of Ami Amour. You can see all of the Candy Skein yarn in person (and others yet to be revealed), and even purchase a few if you are so inclined. ;)
I also don't have an FO to share, though I am ALMOST finished with my first sock of my first pair. YAY! Anyway, so yeah, I can't wait to check out everyone's FOs. I know quite a few of you have really good stuff to share from the look and sound of things based on Wednesday!
Share your FOs!
I hope you don't mind the word verification entry, but many of my new crochet/yarn friends use Word Verification and I'm hoping they see this!
ReplyDeleteGood luck at the show! Looking forward to seeing those socks next week.
ReplyDeletegoodluck with the show :)
ReplyDeleteGood luck at the show! I look forward to seeing your socks.
ReplyDeleteGood luck at the show!
ReplyDeleteNo FO for me either. Hope the show goes awesomely for both of you!
ReplyDeleteHave fun at the show!
ReplyDeleteGood luck at the show!
ReplyDeleteGood luck tomorrow. Have fun!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much everyone!
ReplyDeleteKeri, your comments aren't working and I wanted to tell you how much I loved your shawl with the shawl pin!
Good luck at the show! No FO for me either. :(
ReplyDeleteGo Tami! Here's hoping you flat sell out of all that yummy yarn and end up with lots of backorders to fill when you're through. (Not wishing huge piles of work for you, understand -- Just humongous success! :)
ReplyDeleteHope the craft show goes well, and that you have wonderful weather which will help to bring folks out. Have a wonderful wkend. I too am playing catch up, and my FO post should be published shortly.
ReplyDeleteTami, I didn't realize it until I left the above comment, but your blog DOES require word verification. If you didn't set that up, then it must have been default settings. Just use the above tutorial to go in and turn it off. I bet you get more comments after that! I'm guessing the majority of folks who still use Word Verification don't even realize they have it turned on (default settings).
ReplyDeleteKathleen, I wish you were closer too! It would be great to meet someone I "know". LOL Thanks for the good luck.
ReplyDeleteVanessa, thank you!
Paula, from your comment to the yarn gods ears. LOL I'd happily take the work if it meant I sold everything (or a lot!)
Sandy, thank you! The sweater is beautiful today, but the bad thing is it's inside a hotel. Let's hope that doesn't deter people! I'll look for your FO. :)
Cheri, how odd. Originally I didn't have it marked to do it and now it was. Thank you for letting me know. I can't tell because I don't obviously need to verify my own comment. I'm not sure when it switched. Maybe from a blogger update? It should be no word verification now (again)! Please let me know if it isn't.
Have a wonderful time at the craft show and I hope you do really well! :) I'm still attempting to get there tonight but I'm not so sure I'll be able to swing it after all. :( :(
ReplyDeleteEither case, I can't wait to hear all about it!
I can't wait to hear about your Candy Skein debut at the craft show. I hope it goes very well & that you meet lots of great people who love your yarn.
ReplyDeletegood luck tomorrow! Have a great time!
ReplyDeleteCould I register a bit of a complaint. Why do people join a linky if they make commenting hard on those that visit their blogs? Why have blogs with multiple steps, like joining before you can comment, or registering before you can comment. I find that irritating and if I did it time consuming. The security things are bad enough.
ReplyDeleteReturning you now to your yarn, rant over
Sandy
Good luck at the show.
ReplyDeleteHey, when you finish that pair, you can finish the sad sock I have on needles stuffed in a project bag in a cabinet. One of the pair is done and the second is halfway done. Apparently I suffer from one and a half sock syndrome!
