Happy Friday and happy Labor Day weekend to my US readers! This is going to be short and sweet, as I don't have too much to say. Actually, I don't even have a FO to share sadly, but I wanted to show an amazing shawl that my great friend Terri knit for me! This is another Candy Skein sample, this time knit with Yummy fingering in colorway Golden Pineapple. This is actually the only skein I've ever dyed in this colorway, and did it special for this project (but don't worry, I can do more! I just haven't gotten around to it). So Terri, if you're reading this, YOU ARE AWESOME! Don't I have the best friends?
Materials:
Candy Skein Yummy fingering- colorway Golden Pineapple (she had 190 yards left over)
Pattern: Ginkgo shoulderette shawl

HEYYYY, I know that shawl!!! It's in my FO Friday update this week, too!
ReplyDeleteOf course, mine doesn't look nearly as nice (I used my own dyed yarn and it overpowers the lace), but still. Small world of patterns. ;)
Don't lose hope, I'm sure you'll have a FO to share with us soon. :) Have a wonderful weekend!

ReplyDeleteI love the colour!! It reminds me of the beautiful weather we are having. I definitely need a new laptop. I can't stand this being in the office, to read blogs and to update mine. It's like being in prison and seeing the beautiful weather outside and not being able to enjoy it. Very sad.
