Work in Progress Wednesday 171
I've gotten a little time to work on a few projects with knitting group and last night. I got a little further on my second Hogwarts Express shawl. The eyes are added and I've done two more rows since. I love the way it's coming along, and though I was unsure of the square matte black eyes for the owls, now I like it.
I also started the Gingerbread Lane cross stitch pattern from the Frosted Pumpkin Stitchery. As you can see I don't have a lot yet, but this pattern is adorable! We glitter sprayed our linen, which is so awesome!
That's it for me today. I hope you have a great rest of the week.
For those that are new to WIPW, to share your WIPW post with us, just fill out the Mr. Linky below. Despite it saying you must comment, don't feel as if you do. That is something Mr. Linky automatically adds. I just ask you to check out a few of the links posted to see what everyone else is working on and comment there if you can. Everyone loves feedback and a little encouragement on their projects! Also, please link back to this post in your post to get the word out! The more the merrier!

No worries, you're right on time for my post :)ReplyDelete
Your WIP Wednesday posts of your Frosted Pumpkin Halloween Sampler encouraged me to get back into cross stitching after a (very) long dry spell of about 20+ years!ReplyDelete
And I also did my first blog post and WIP Wednesday in about 3 years! So thanks for the inspiration =D
I'm waiting on my sparkly fabric to arrive to begin my gingerbread pattern, but I bought last year's winter sampler and started on it. How did you sparkle-ize your fabric?
Hi and thanks for hosting and I love the color of the shawl you are working on & it will be pretty when finished! I'm new here and I look forward to more parties. Julie at julieslifestyle.blogspot.comReplyDelete
I think the eyes are really cool! Isn't it fun to play the tourist in your own town? I do it occasionally with friends from out of town, and it is always pretty fun.ReplyDelete
Love those square buttons. Adds a unique touch and I love that yarn!ReplyDelete
I love the owl eyes just starting to poke their heads up in the knitting!ReplyDelete
Help....trying to link, won't take me. Am I doing something wrong?ReplyDelete
