Happy Birthday Candy Skein!

I can't believe it's been a year, but I opened Candy Skein's virtual doors one year ago today, on May 3, 2011. It's been such a fun ride and the company has grown beyond my wildest dreams. It's a lot of work, but I wouldn't give it up for the world. I wanted to thank all of you for your support and especially those who have not only bought my yarn, but spread the word and given it great reviews. I obviously wouldn't be where I am today (just a week from driving all the way to the Portland, OR area for a fiber festival) and it's all because of you!


To show my gratitude and to celebrate the first anniversary, I'm holding a contest that runs from today through Thursday, May 31 at 11:59pm PDT. I will then pick the winners the following Thursday, June 7th on the blog and Candy Skein Addicts Ravelry group by a random number generator. Each entry will be assigned a number beforehand. Here's how to enter and what you can win!


There's a few ways to enter the drawing, and the more times your name gets put into pool, the better chance to win!

The rules:

If you comment on this blog post, you get your name entered once.
If you are a member of the Candy Skein Addicts Ravelry group and comment in the thread about the contest, you are entered one time.
If you write a review or blog post for Candy Skein yarn, your name is entered twice.
And last, but certainly not least, if you order Candy Skein yarn from today through May 31st at 11:59 PDT (which also counts custom orders), your name is entered three times.

All items are cumulative, so for someone who does all of the above, their name will be entered seven times. Obviously, please leave your Ravelry name on all entries (in orders you can leave it in the notes section) so that I can know who is who.
